Stovetop, Pot (small), Peeler, Knife

Step 1

Peel & mince the garlic. Peel & dice the onion.

Heat a dab of butter in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion & garlic. Cook, stirring for 3 min.

Potato

Step 3

Peel & dice the potato.

Bacon

Step 4

Chop the bacon into small pieces.

Corn (canned)

Veggie broth

Step 5

Add the corn, potato, bacon & vegetable broth to the pot. Bring to a boil & stir. Reduce the heat to low, cover & simmer for 15 min.

Heavy cream

Step 6

Add the cream. Season with salt & pepper. Simmer for another 3 min.

Basil (fresh)

Step 7

Serve garnished with a drizzle of olive oil & torn basil leaves (optional). Time to chow-der down!
