Yellow onion

Step 1

Peel & chop the onion.

Ground beef
Chili powder

Step 2

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add in ground beef. Season with chili powder, salt, pepper & your choice of seasonings (we love garlic powder, cumin & paprika!). Break up the meat into small pieces & brown for 5 min.

Yellow onion

Step 3

Add in onion. Stir & cook 2 more min.

Tomatoes (canned, diced)

Step 4

Add in tomatoes. Stir & cook 2 more min.

Kidney beans (canned)

Step 5

Add in kidney beans. Stir & cook 1 more min.

Beef broth

Step 6

Add broth, cover & bring it up to a boil.

Pasta (elbow macaroni)

Step 7

Uncover & stir in macaroni. Cover & lower to a simmer. Cook the pasta for 8 min or until al dente.

Cheddar (shredded)

Step 8

Uncover & stir. Turn off the heat. Add shredded cheddar & mix well to combine.

Step 9

Serve, topped with extra cheese & enjoy!
