Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Melt a dab of butter in a frying pan over high heat. Add the gnocchi. Stir & cook for 3-4 min. Cover & continue cooking for 3-4 min over low heat, until golden brown.
Step 2
Meanwhile, remove the skin from the salmon & cut into 2-inch cubes.
Step 3
Once the gnocchi is golden brown, remove from the heat & set aside.
Step 4
In the same pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over high heat. Add the salmon cubes. Season with salt & pepper. Cook for 3-4 min, flip the salmon cubes & cook for another 3-4 min until almost cooked through.
Step 5
Reduce the heat to medium, grate in the garlic, add the heavy cream, grated parmesan & chopped dill (optional). Season again with salt & pepper to taste.
Step 6
Add the gnocchi back into the pan & continue cooking for 2-3 min, until the sauce is thick & creamy.
Step 7
Serve the creamy salmon gnocchi on a plate. Sprinkle with additional grated parmesan & a squeeze of lemon juice, if you have any. Enjoy!
