Stovetop, Pot (small), Frying pan, Grater

Chicken breast
Flour (all-purpose)

Step 1

Dredge both sides of the chicken in flour.

Butter (unsalted)

Step 2

Melt half the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken. Brown for 3-4 min on each side.

Pasta (pappardelle)

Step 3

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.

Remove the chicken from the pan, while keeping the pan over medium heat. Set the chicken aside & cover to keep warm.

Capers

Step 5

Add most of the capers to the hot pan. Sauté for 1 min.

White wine
Lemon
Butter (unsalted)

Step 6

Add the white wine, lemon juice & the rest of the butter. Reduce the heat to low, stir & let the sauce thicken.

Chicken breast

Step 7

Return the chicken to the pan. Season with salt & pepper. Spoon the sauce over the chicken.

Capers

Step 8

Serve the chicken & lemon-butter sauce over the pasta. Garnish with the rest of the capers, lemon zest, pepper & a drizzle of oil. Enjoy!
