Let's simplify eating cookies...One giant cookie makes one batch!
Oven, Pot (small), Whisk, Stovetop, Frying pan
Step 1
Reserve a few squares of chocolate for garnish (optional). Roughly chop the rest of the chocolate. You can also use chocolate chips!
Step 2
Melt the butter in a pot or in the microwave. Add the butter, raw sugar & white sugar to a large bowl. If you don't have raw sugar, substitute brown sugar! Mix it all together.
Step 3
Crack the eggs into a small bowl. Whisk the eggs. Then add the eggs & a large pinch of salt to the mixing bowl.
Step 4
Add the flour & baking powder to the bowl. Mix to combine.
Step 5
Add the chopped chocolate & mix again. Refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 min.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease your cast iron skillet or round cake pan.
Step 7
Use an ice cream scooper or your hands to transfer the dough to the skillet. Press the dough evenly into the pan. Then top with the reserved chunks of chocolate (optional).
Step 8
Bake for 35-45 min at 350°F. The top of the cookie should be nice & golden. Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with sea salt. Let cool slightly. Enjoy!
