Food processor, Pie pan, Knife
In a medium bowl, prepare the instant pudding according to package instructions. Store in the refrigerator until the pie is ready to assemble. Meanwhile, remove the frozen whipped topping from the freezer & defrost.
Use a food processor to grind the chocolate sandwich cookies into crumbs. (Save a few cookies for topping the pie).
Add melted butter to the food processor & blend until combined into the texture of wet sand.
Place the cookie crumb mixture into a 9-inch pie dish. Use the bottom of a cup to evenly press the crumbs into the bottom & sides of the pan.
Add the chilled chocolate pudding into the pie crust & smooth into an even layer.
Top the pie with the defrosted whipped topping & spread evenly.
Crumble any extra cookies on top of the pie. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hr. Slice & serve cold. Enjoy!
