Make sure you have...
Stovetop, Frying pan, Knife
Step 1
Rinse & thinly slice the scallions.
Step 2
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef. Cook for 3-5 min, breaking it into pieces with a spatula. Once the meat is nearly cooked through, lower the heat & stir in the Korean bbq sauce. Allow the meat to simmer in the sauce, stirring until it's well-coated, about 1 more min.
Step 3
Turn off the heat & stir in the sliced scallions. Transfer the cooked meat to a bowl, leaving some sauce & oil in the pan. Reheat the pan, crack in the eggs & cook undisturbed for sunny-side up, about 2-3 min.
Step 4
As the eggs cook, heat the rice according to package instructions.
Step 5
In a bowl, add a layer of the rice. Top with the saucy beef, kimchi, & shredded carrots. Add the fried egg. Garnish with more scallions & toasted sesame seeds if you have. Serve & enjoy!
