Cut off the root of the leek. Slice the white & light green section into thin rings.

Rinse the leeks in a colander. Drain well.

Heat a pat of butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the leeks. Cook, stirring for 2 min.

Reduce the heat to low, cover & cook for 5-7 min.

Pasta (farfalle or bow-tie)

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions.

Add the cream to the leeks. Season with salt & pepper. Stir to combine.

Drain the pasta & add to the pan.
