Butter (unsalted)
Sugar (granulated)
Egg

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F. Bring the butter & sugar to room temperature. Add the softened butter & sugar to a large bowl. Mix to combine. Add the eggs & a pinch of salt. Mix again.

Flour (all-purpose)
Almond flour

Step 2

Add both flours to the butter-sugar mixture & stir.

Wash & peel the apples. Core them, then cut into quarters.

Lay half the apples in the bottom of a greased loaf pan. Pour in the batter. Arrange the rest of the apples over top. Sprinkle with 1 tsp of sugar & sliced almonds (optional).

Step 5

Bake for 10 min at 425°F, then lower to 350°F. Cook for another 30 min.

Step 6

When an inserted toothpick comes out clean, the bread is done! Wait at least 10 min before slicing. It's even better the next day!
