By participating in Jow’s Referral Program (the “Program”), you agree to be bound by these Referral Program Terms and Conditions (“Referral Terms”), which are part of Jow’s Terms of Service. The Program is one of the “Services” covered by Jow’s Terms of Service, and you agree to the Terms of Service.
The Program allows an existing Jow user (“Referrer”) the opportunity to earn credits that can be credited toward the Referrer’s future Jow grocery orders (“Referral Credits”) by referring others to become new Jow customers (each a “Referred User”) by using a valid referral link and creating a Jow account.
Qualifying Referred Users can earn credits that can be credited toward future Jow grocery purchases.
The Referred User must sign up using the unique URL link provided to them by the Referrer (“Referral Link”), which the Referrer can find on the Services. Referrers and Referred Users can earn Referral Credits if all the following conditions (collectively, the “Referral Criteria”) are satisfied:

The Referrer
is a U.S resident;
is an active Jow customer;
is and remains in compliance with these Referral Terms and the rest of Jow’s Terms of Service;
is not a Jow employee or a direct relative or member of a household of a Jow employee;
is not a professional affiliate marketer; and
is a real human.
The Referred Users
is at least 18 years of age;
is a U.S. resident;
is eligible to make grocery orders pursuant to our Terms of Service;
is and remains in compliance with these Referral Terms and the rest of Jow’s Terms of Service;
is a new Jow customer who does not have, and has never had, a Jow account;
is not a Jow employee or a direct relative or member of a household of a Jow employee; and
is a real human. Customers cannot refer themselves or use or generate additional email addresses or fake people to earn Referral Credits.
The Referred User clicks the Referrer’s Referral Link and then, on the landing page generated by clicking the Referral Link, the Referred User creates a Jow account and then links their Jow account with a grocer in compliance with these Referral Terms.
With respect to credits earned by the Referrer
A referral that meets the Referral Criteria is a “Qualifying Referral.”
The Referrer will earn the Referral Credit only if the Referred User is the Referrer’s third Qualifying Referral.
The Referrer will be credited with the amount of Referral Credits specified on the Services only after all of the Referral Criteria have been satisfied. If a Referred User receives Referral Links from multiple Referrers, only the Referred User and the Referrer associated with the Referral Link actually used by the Referred User will be eligible to receive Referral Credits.
Jow will determine who this is in its sole discretion. Referral Credits will be reflected in the Referrer or Referred User’s profile tab.
Once a Referrer has earned the Referrer’s Referral Credit for three Qualifying Referrals, any additional Qualifying Referrals will not satisfy the Referral Criteria for the Referrer, and additional Referral Credits will not be granted. However:
Referral Credits will expire 3 months after being claimed. Unless otherwise specified in the Services, any Referral Credits you earn will automatically be applied to the balance of your Jow account, and each Referral Credit will offset the amount due by One Dollar (US$1), up to the total amount owed for such payment. If your payment is later refunded for any reason, the maximum refund you may receive is the amount you actually paid. Except to the extent required by applicable law, Referral Credits are not redeemable for cash, non-transferable, non-refundable, not substitutable, and may not be used for any other purpose. Void where restricted or prohibited by law.
You must not share Referral Links via text messaging. You agree to comply with all applicable laws when sharing your Referral Links.
Referral Links must not be published or distributed on commercial websites (such as coupon websites, deal aggregator websites, or Reddit). Don’t spam anyone with Referral Links.This includes mass emailing or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems or bot through any channel to distribute your Referral Link.
You cannot pay anyone to advertise your Referral Link.
How to Promote Jow Transparently and Fairly.
Don’t ever lie or misrepresent the truth about Jow, your experience, Referral Links, or anything else when sharing Referral Links. Add a personal note to explain why you like Jow, and make it clear that you’ll get a benefit from us when the Referred User signs up as a Qualifying Referral. For instance, you could say, “We’ll both save when you sign up,” or “We’ll both earn a discount when you sign up.”
If we learn that you have violated anything in this Section 3, you will be immediately suspended from the Program, and we reserve the right to deactivate or invalidate your Referral Credits and those of your Referred User, and to charge your payment method for any amounts paid for with deactivated or invalidated Credits.
Your participation in the Program is subject to your compliance with the rest of Jow’s Terms of Service, any additional policies or requirements posted by Jow during or after the Program, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Every Qualifying Referral is subject to independent verification by Jow and Jow’s representatives. Jow has sole discretion in setting the amount of the Referral Credit, and the amount can change at any time. All decisions regarding Referral Credits, Qualifying Referrals, or your participation in the Program will be at Jow’s sole discretion.
Referral Credits that Referrers and Referred Users receive are personal to the individual and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends, or anyone else (unless otherwise approved by Jow in writing).
We may, in our sole discretion, modify, suspend, or terminate the Program, or your ability to participate in the Program at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate you from the Program, or deduct Referral Credits from your account, if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of these Referral Terms or our Terms of Service, including:
We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify Referral Credits as we deem fair and appropriate in our sole discretion. You will provide us with information reasonably necessary to verify compliance with these Referral Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Referral Terms at any time in our sole discretion. If we amend these Referral Terms, we will post the updated version on the Services or notify you as required by law. Continued participation in the Program after any modification will constitute consent to such modification.
