Turn ordinary salmon into extraordinary with this spicy-sweet glaze!
Knife, Oven, Sheet Tray
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F. Wash & trim the asparagus spears of their woody ends. Peel & grate or finely chop the garlic.
Step 2
Add the asparagus to a parchment-lined sheet tray. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper & any additional seasonings you love (we suggest garlic powder & onion powder!). Toss to combine & push to 1 side of the sheet tray.
Step 3
Prepare the hot honey glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, red pepper flakes, soy sauce & garlic.
Step 4
Place the salmon fillets on the other side of the sheet tray. Brush with the hot honey glaze.
Step 5
Transfer the sheet tray to the oven & roast for 12-15 mins, until the salmon is fully cooked & the asparagus is tender.
Step 6
Meanwhile, heat the mixed grain blend according to package instructions.
Step 7
Plate the salmon, asparagus & mixed grains with a lemon wedge to squeeze on top (optional). Season to taste with salt & pepper. Serve & enjoy!
