Red apple

Step 1

Peel, core & dice the apples.

Sugar (granulated)

Step 2

Add the apples & sugar to a pot over medium-low heat. Pour in 1/3 cup of water (per serving).

Cinnamon (ground)
Vanilla extract

Step 3

Add the cinnamon & vanilla extract. (Or you could split a vanilla bean in half & scrape the seeds to use!)

Step 4

Stir it all together. Cover & let cook for 10-15 min, stirring occasionally.

Step 5

Mash with a fork or purée with an immersion blender.

Step 6

The applesauce keeps for 1 week in the fridge. Enjoy!
