Perfect teriyaki salmon & sweet potatoes in less than 30 min!

Sweet potato

Step 1

Wash & cut the sweet potatoes into small cubes.

Smoked Paprika

Step 2

Add the sweet potatoes to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil & season with salt, pepper & half of the smoked paprika. Mix well.

Step 3

Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook in the air fryer for 20 min at 400°F, stirring halfway through cooking.

Teriyaki sauce
Garlic
Sesame seeds

Step 4

Meanwhile, make the marinade. In a bowl, add the teriyaki sauce, grate in the garlic & season with the remaining smoked paprika & sesame seeds, if using. Mix well.

Salmon (fresh)

Step 5

Place the salmon filets in a dish & pour the marinade on top. Flip the salmon to coat it on all sides with the marinade.

Step 6

Place the marinated salmon filets on top of the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket. Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for 6-8 min, until the salmon is fully cooked. (The salmon should flake easily with a fork.)

Step 7

When the sweet potatoes are tender & the salmon is fully cooked, remove them from the air fryer.

Spring mix lettuce

Step 8

Serve the teriyaki salmon & sweet potatoes on a plate with a side salad of lettuce dressed to your taste. Enjoy!
