๐Ÿงก How do I create a Jow account?

To get the true Jow experience, we recommend that you log into the account for your grocery store. That way, you can have your cake and eat it too (or, in other words, create shopping lists, check out, and buy your groceries).

You can also log in to Jow with your Facebook, Google, or Apple account. With a social account, you can create a shopping list and check off your items as you place them in your cart (in-store or online).

โœ๏ธ How do I make changes to my account?

To make changes to your account like personal information and delivery address, go to your Jow account:

From the app:

  • Tap on the little person icon.

  • Tap on My accounts.

  • Choose a grocery account and make your changes from there.

From the website:

  • Hover over your name in the top right-hand corner.

  • Click on My accounts

  • Click on your active account and make your changes from there.

Keep in mind, you can only make the changes mentioned above by adding a store to the Jow app. With a social account

To change or edit your email address or password, go to your supermarketโ€™s website. If you change your email address, please contact us at support@jow.com in order to be able to retrieve the orders from your account attached to the old address.

If you wish to delete your account then please send us an email at support@jow.com.

๐Ÿ”‘ What if I've forgotten my password?

If you've forgotten your password to your Grocer account, you can go here and tap forgot my password. You will still be directed to follow the reset link in your email from the grocer and return back to Jow once you've made the changes.

๐Ÿ”” How do I manage my contact & notification preferences?

From the Jow app

  • Tap the little person icon to the right of the navigation bar.

  • At the bottom, tap Contact preferences. From there, you can check and uncheck your desired preferences.

  • You can also tap Notification Settings to manage your preferences on your device.

๐Ÿ”€ How do I select another store?

In order to switch between stores:

From the app

  • Tap the little person icon.

  • Tap My accounts.

  • Select or add a store.

From the website

  • Hover over your name in the top right-hand corner.

  • Click My accounts.

  • Select or add a merchant.

Please note that you can only shop or order from one store at a time. If you would like to shop between stores, place your order from one store, then follow the steps above and place an order from another.

๐Ÿฅœ How do I update my dislikes & allergies?

If you need to update any dietary restrictions, dislikes, or allergies, you can add them by

  • Tapping the little person icon.

  • From there, at the top of the screen, you will see a few options similar to those from your onboarding.

You can make these changes as often as you like and the app will adapt to your new choices.

โš ๏ธ Note: If you are allergic to peanuts, for example, we will not auto-select recipes with peanuts in them for your personalized menu. However, you will still be able to search for and find recipes with peanuts in them on the Jow app, so make sure you check the ingredients of all recipes. Once recipes are in your cart, you will see a red message that reads Incompatible with diet (or dislikes).

๐Ÿ”’How to change my password

You can change your password by going to the grocery store's website that you linked with your Jow account and following their steps.

It is important to note that any changes made with your grocer must be updated in the Jow app. That way we can input any of your previous orders so that nothing gets lost in the sauce!

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ How do I change my email address?

Love the boldness! You can change your email address by going to the grocery store's website that you linked with your Jow account and following their steps.

It's important to note that any changes made with your grocer need to be updated in the Jow. That we, we can input all of your previous orders and nothing gets lost in the sauce!

๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ How to add or remove kitchen equipment

You can add or remove kitchen equipment (like slow cookers, blenders, etc.) by going to your account settings (the little person icon). Once there, click on the little oven in the top navigation bar and youโ€™ll be able to add or remove kitchen equipment.

๐Ÿฌ How to Create a Kroger Account to Connect with Jow

In order to link your Kroger account with Jow, you'll need to first create a Kroger account!

Note: If you already have a Kroger account, in order to integrate with Jow, you cannot use the Google social login offered through Kroger. You will need to log in to Kroger through an email address and password, not by attaching it to your Google login.

To create a new Kroger account, you will need an email address and a Loyalty ID Number. If you don't have one, you can create one when you create a Kroger account! This Loyalty Number is free and helps you get the best savings at your Kroger or Kroger-owned stores.

Creating an account is super easy. Just follow the prompts and if you have any issues creating one, please reach out to Kroger's customer service.
