Why Should I Buy Frozen Veggies?

Frozen veggies are affordable and widely available, so you can always have a few bags stocked at home. They’re also super convenient, arriving pre-washed, pre-cut, and ready to cook, saving you valuable time. Unlike fresh veggies, it’s no problem if you don’t cook them within a few days! Frozen veggies typically last up to 8-12 months in your freezer, which helps limit food waste.

If you’re worried about nutrition, you should know that frozen veggies can be even MORE nutritious than their fresh counterparts since they’ve been frozen at peak ripeness. Another perk is that you can eat frozen veggies all year, which means you can enjoy sweet spring peas and summer corn in the coldest winter months. Just like fresh veggies, frozen veggies are versatile and can be cooked in various ways, including sautéing, steaming, and blanching. Our favorite method for hardy veggies like squash, broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes and so on? Roasting!
