  • Step 1
    Cut the broccoli into small-medium sized florets, discarding the stem.
  • Step 2
    Add them to a pot of salted boiling water for 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    While the broccoli is cooking, remove the outer skin of the onions and cut in thin slices. Add them to a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Step 4
    Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  • Step 5
    Add the meatless chick'n strips to the skillet. Optional: add grated fresh ginger or powdered ginger.
  • Step 6
    Add some ginger if you have some.
  • Step 7
    Add the cashews, mix and cook for another 2 minutes on high heat.
  • Step 8
    Drain the broccoli and add it to the skillet.
  • Step 9
    Add pepper and soy sauce and cook for an 2 additional minutes. Tip: Taste before adding salt as soy sauce has a high salt content.
