Tuna Melt with Chips & Pickle

Tuna (canned)
1 Stalk
Celery

Mayonnaise
2 slices
Cheddar (slices)

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Rinse & finely dice the celery, then add it to a bowl. - Step 2
Drain the canned tuna if necessary & add it to the bowl with celery. Add the mayo with a pinch of salt & pepper. Mix it all together. See tips section to jazz up the tuna salad! - Step 3
Halve the english muffin (use a spoon for the classic technique)! Add each half to a parchment-lined sheet tray. Scoop equal amounts of the tuna salad onto each half. Layer a slice of cheddar cheese on top. - Step 4
Bake in the oven for 8-10 min, until the cheese is melted. Option to use the oven's broiler setting in the final 2 min for a crisp top! Remove the tuna melt from the oven & serve with your favorite potato chips. Add some pickles on the side & enjoy!
Recipe tip
Finely chopped red onion adds the perfect savory bite in tuna salad! We also love adding a small spoonful of dijon mustard & a few shakes of paprika to maximize the flavor!
