Pizza sauce

Mozzarella (shredded)

- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F. If necessary, drain the roasted bell peppers & cut into thin strips. Set aside. - Step 2
Cut the sausage lengthwise, then peel off the casing. - Step 3
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan. Add the sausage & brown for 2-3 min while breaking up the meat into small pieces. Don't worry if it's fully cooked or not - the sausage will keep cooking in the oven! - Step 4
Drizzle a sheet tray with olive oil & place the flatbread on top. Top the flatbread with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, roasted bell peppers & sausage. - Step 5
Transfer to the oven & cook for 10-15 min, until the cheese is melty & the crust is golden brown. - Step 6
Garnish with basil (optional), serve & enjoy!
