  • Step 1
    Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat with a drizzle of oil. Add the ground beef. Break it apart into pieces with a spatula & brown for 2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add the salsa to the beef & cook, stirring frequently, for 2 more minutes. Like it spicy? Add some chili pepper, cayenne or hot sauce!
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat. Lay out your tortillas. Spread browned beef & salsa mixture over half of each, top with dollops of sour cream & shredded cheese. Add chopped fresh cilantro (optional).
  • Step 4
    Fold the tortillas in half.

    Place alongside each other in the same frying pan. Cook over medium heat until first side is golden brown & flip over. Continue cooking on second side until cheese is melted.
  • Step 6
    Gently remove them from frying pan with spatula. Cut each quesadilla into 3 or 4 wedges. For extra yum, garnish your plate with lime wedges, extra sour cream & salsa. Enjoy!
