- Step 1
Peel & chop the onion & garlic. - Step 2
Measure out the grated carrots. (Note: grated carrots cook faster!) - Step 3
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the carrots, onion & garlic. Sauté for 3 min. - Step 4
Add the ground beef. Cook for 3 min, while breaking it apart with a spatula. - Step 5
Add the tomato purée & oregano (optional). Reduce the heat to low & simmer for 5 min. - Step 6
Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. - Step 7
Drain the pasta & add it to the sauce. Mix it all together. - Step 8
Serve the meaty pasta garnished with parmesan cheese & more oregano (optional). Buon appetito!
