Savoy cabbage (head)
1/3 cup
Cannellini beans (cooked)
1/2 oz
Bacon (thick cut)
1/2 clove
Garlic

- Step 1
Slice off the bottom of the cabbage stem. Wash & roughly chop the cabbage leaves. - Step 2
Peel & mince the garlic. Roughly chop the bacon. Heat a drizzle of oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the bacon & garlic. Sauté for 2 min. - Step 3
Add the cabbage & stir. - Step 4
Add enough water to cover. - Step 5
Season with salt & pepper. Bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low, cover & simmer for 15 min. - Step 6
Add the drained beans. Cover & cook for 5 min. - Step 7
Season with salt & pepper. - Step 8
Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil. Yum!
