Step 1

(Since each pizza dough is different, also follow your package instructions for baking.) Preheat the oven to 425°F. Peel & mince the onion.

Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion, salt & pepper. Sauté for 5 min. Add the dried herbs & capers. Stir to combine.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 7 min, stirring occasionally.

Sugar (granulated)

Step 4

Add the sugar. Stir & cook for 5 min.

Pizza dough

Step 5

Lay the pizza dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread the onion mixture over top, leaving a border around the edges.

Black olives (pitted)

Step 6

Arrange the drained anchovies & olives over the onion mixture. Bake for 15 min at 425°F.

Serve hot or cold. Bon appetit!
