Stovetop, Pot (small), Frying pan, Peeler, Colander
Peel & cut the potatoes into small cubes.
Cook the potatoes in a pot of boiling salted water for 15 min, or until fork-tender.
While the potatoes are cooking, heat a pan over low heat. Slowly melt the blue cheese & sour cream, stirring frequently. Season with salt & pepper. Set aside.
Drain the potatoes & put them into a bowl. Season with salt & pepper.
Add the milk & butter to the potatoes. Mash with a potato masher or fork until smooth & creamy. Add more milk if needed. Cover & keep warm until serving.
Heat a pat of butter or drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers 2 min on each side, or until done to your liking.
Serve the burgers with the mashed potatoes & creamy blue cheese sauce. Enjoy!
