Stovetop, Frying pan
Cook the prepared hash browns according to package instructions. Season to taste.
While the potatoes are cooking, dice the shallot.
Add half the butter to a pan over medium heat. Once melted, add the shallot. Cooking, stirring for 2 min.
Add the rest of the butter & the patties to the pan. Cook the burgers for 2 min on each side, or until done to your liking.
While the pan is still hot, add 2 tbsp of water (per person) to create au jus. Let the sauce thicken for about 2 min.
Serve the steak with the potatoes, pouring the sauce from the pan over all. Enjoy!
