Brush, Oven, Baking pan
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Peel & slice the shallots into thin wedges. Wash & trim the green beans.
Grease a baking dish. Add the green beans & shallots to the dish. Season with salt & pepper. Add half the butter. Mix to combine. Bake for 10 min at 400°F.
Melt the rest of the butter in the microwave. Combine the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest & minced garlic.
After 10 min, remove the baking dish from the oven. Lay the cod fillets over top the green beans. Generously brush the cod with lemon-butter sauce. Season with salt & pepper. Bake for another 10 min, or until the cod is cooked through.
Serve garnished with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
