Broccoli & Bacon Quiche

Pie crust (ready-to-bake)
1/2 cup
Broccoli (fresh)
1 oz
Cream cheese
3/50 cup
Sour cream
1/5 cup
Milk (whole)

1.5 slices

Be sure to follow the pie crust package instructions! Preheat the oven to 400°F. Wash & trim the broccoli. Cut it into small florets. - Step 2
Cook the broccoli in a pot of salted boiling water for 2 min. - Step 3
Lay the pie crust in a pie or tart pan. Pierce it several times with a fork. Pre-bake it for 5 min. - Step 4
Drain the broccoli. - Step 5
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sour cream, milk, salt & pepper. - Step 6
Remove the crust from the oven. - Step 7
Arrange the broccoli in the bottom of the quiche. - Step 8
Sprinkle the finely chopped bacon over top. (It can be cooked or raw!) - Step 9
Pour in the egg-milk mixture. - Step 10
Top with dollops of cream cheese. Season with salt & pepper. - Step 11
Bake for 30 min at 400°F, or until the filling has set. Let cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy!
