  • Step 1
    Wash and peel the potatoes.
  • Step 2
    Remove the skin from the onion.
  • Step 3
    Grate the potatoes and the onion.
  • Step 4
    Wrap the grated potatoes and onion in a kitchen towel to squeeze out the excess water.
  • Step 5
    Add the grated veggies, flour and eggs to a bowl. Add salt and pepper and mix.
  • Step 6
    Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large frying pan on high heat. Add 2 spoonfuls of the potato mixture and flatten it, forming a circle. If your pan is large enough, you can make more than one at a time.

    Cook for 5 minutes and flip. Cook for an additional 5 minutes (or until golden brown).
