Caramelized Apples with Sour Cream

Red apple
2 tbsp
Butter (unsalted)
2 tsp
Sugar (granulated)
1/8 cup
Sour cream
1 pinch
Cinnamon (ground)

- Step 1
Peel, core & slice the apples into wedges (any type of apple will do!). - Step 2
Add the butter & sugar to a pan over medium heat. Mix until the butter is melted & the sugar is dissolved. - Step 3
Add the apple wedges & cook over low heat for 15 min, turning occasionally, or until the apples are golden brown. - Step 4
When the apples are done cooking, add a pinch of cinnamon & stir once more. Then remove from heat. - Step 5
Add a smear of sour cream to a plate. Arrange the caramelized apples over top. Sprinkle with an additional pinch of cinnamon (optional). Yum!
