- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Clean & finely slice the mushrooms. - Step 2
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook, stirring for 3-5 min. - Step 3
Be sure to follow the pie crust package instructions! Lay the pie dough in a pie or tart pan. Pierce it several times with a fork. - Step 4
Once the oven has preheated, pre-bake the crust for 5 min. Then set it aside. - Step 5
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, salt & pepper. - Step 6
Season the mushrooms with salt & pepper. Remove from heat. - Step 7
Grate the Swiss cheese, if needed. Arrange the mushrooms & Swiss cheese over the base of the quiche. - Step 8
Pour in the egg-milk mixture. - Step 9
Garnish with sprigs of rosemary (optional). Season with salt & pepper. - Step 10
Bake for 30 min at 400°F, or until the filling has set. - Step 11
Remove from the oven. Let the quiche cool slightly before slicing. Serve & enjoy!
