Lemon-Turmeric Salmon with Broccoli

Broccoli (fresh)

Salmon (fresh)
1/2 tsp
Turmeric (ground)

In a shallow dish, combine the salmon, olive oil, turmeric, lemon juice, salt & pepper. Mix it all together. Set aside to marinate. - Step 2
Wash & cut the broccoli into florets. - Step 3
Cook the broccoli in a pot of salted boiling water for 3-5 min, or until crisp-tender. Drain & set aside. - Step 4
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated salmon to the pan, skin-side down. Cook for 2-3 min. - Step 5
Flip over the salmon. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 2 min, or until cooked to your liking. - Step 6
Serve the salmon with the broccoli & an extra squeeze of lemon (optional). Season with salt & pepper. Enjoy!
