Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut the potatoes into thin fries. - Step 2
Rinse the potatoes under cold water. Then drain them in a colander. - Step 3
In a bowl, combine the potatoes, salt, pepper, oregano (optional) & a drizzle of oil. Toss to combine. - Step 4
Transfer the potatoes to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 40 min at 400°F. - Step 5
Wash & slice the tomato. - Step 6
Form the ground beef into patties. - Step 7
About 5 min before the fries are done, start the burgers. Add them to a hot pan over medium heat. Cook for 2 min on each side, or until done to your liking. - Step 8
Top the cooking burgers with torn pieces of fresh mozzarella. - Step 9
Toast the buns for 15-30 seconds. - Step 10
Smear pesto on one slice of each burger bun. Top with the cheeseburger, sliced tomato & arugula. Close each burger. - Step 11
Serve your Italian burgers with fries. You can even dip the fries in more pesto! Enjoy!
