A warming vegetarian spring or fall dish!
Stovetop, Colander, Pot (small)
Step 1
Cut off the base of the Brussels sprouts, then slice them in half. Place them in a colander & rinse well.
Step 2
Add the Brussels sprouts to a pot of boiling salted water. Cook, boiling for 8 min. If using frozen Brussels sprouts, cook for 6 min.
Step 3
After 8 min, insert a knife into the Brussels sprouts to test doneness. The knife should go in easily! Drain & set aside.
Step 4
In a pan over medium-high heat, add the butter, cooked Brussels sprouts & gnocchi. Pan fry 2-3 min, stirring frequently, until lightly browned. Season with salt & pepper.
Step 5
Add 2 tbsp of water (per person) to the pan. Cover & cook for more 2 min over medium-low heat.
Step 6
Once the water has evaporated, remove from heat.
Step 7
Serve with grated parmesan cheese & enjoy!
