Preheat the oven to 425°F. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the gnocchi until they start to float.
Drain and place the gnocchi in an oven-safe dish. Cover with tomato sauce and season with salt and pepper. Mix to combine.
Top with the shredded mozzarella and bake for 15 minutes at 425°F.
Remove from the oven, add some fresh basil and enjoy!
