  • Step 1
    In a pot of salted, boiling water, add the tortellini & cook according to package directions. Drain & set aside.
  • Step 2
    Preheat the oven to 400°F. Meanwhile, peel & mince the onions.
  • Step 3
    Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, over medium heat. Add the onions & grated garlic. Sauté for 1-2 mins.
  • Step 4
    Add the minced beef. Continue cooking for 5-6 mins, breaking down the bits with a spatula, until cooked through & brown.
  • Step 5
    Add the tomato sauce. Stir to combine & continue cooking for another 1-2 mins. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

    In an oven-proof dish, add the drained tortellini & homemade bolognaise sauce. Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese & bake in the oven for 15-20 mins at 400°F.
  • Step 7
    Once the cheese is nicely browned on top, remove the dish from the oven. Serve the Easy Bolognese Baked Pasta in a plate with a side of green salad seasoned to taste. Enjoy!
