recipe
- Step 1
Clean & thinly slice the scallions (optional). - Step 2
Wash & cut the broccoli into small florets. - Step 3
Peel & mince the garlic. - Step 4
Add a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add frozen dumplings flat-side down & cook for 3-4 min until golden brown. - Step 5
Pour in water (2 tbsp per serving) & cover with a lid. Let steam for 5-6 min until the dumplings are cooked through. Remove the lid & let any remaining water evaporate. Transfer dumplings to a plate & set aside. - Step 6
In the same pan, add another drizzle of olive oil. Add the broccoli & cook for 4-5 min over medium-high heat until slightly blistered but still crisp. - Step 7
Add the soy sauce & garlic, stirring quickly to coat the broccoli. Let cook for 1-2 min, then push the broccoli to one side of the pan. - Step 8
Transfer the dumplings to the other side of the pan & re-warm if necessary. - Step 9
Serve the dumplings & broccoli with extra soy sauce for dipping. Drizzle with chili oil & sprinkle with thinly sliced scallions, if using. Enjoy!
