Mussels

1 clove
Garlic

2.5 oz
Raw shrimp (frozen)

1/8 bunch
Curly parsley (fresh)

1/4 cup
White wine

- Step 1
Clean the mussels by wiping them with a paper towel & removing any "beards" (these are the hair-like pieces that might be attached to the mussels). - Step 2
If using frozen shrimp, defrost. - Step 3
Peel & roughly chop the garlic. - Step 4
In a pot of salted, boiling water, add the linguine & cook until al dente, about 6 min. - Step 5
Meanwhile, wash & chop the parsley. - Step 6
Drain the pasta & set aside. - Step 7
Add a dab of butter & a drizzle of olive oil to a pot on medium-high heat. Add the chopped garlic & shrimp. Cook for 2-3 min until the shrimp are almost fully cooked. - Step 8
Next, add the white wine & mussels. Cover & cook for 5-6 min or until the mussels open up. Add the drained pasta & chopped parsley into the pot. Stir to combine, then remove from the heat. Serve & enjoy!
