  • Step 1
    Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  • Step 2
    Set out 3 shallow dishes. Whisk the egg, salt & pepper in the first dish. Add a pinch of paprika (optional).
  • Step 3
    Add the flour & garlic powder to the 2nd dish. Add bread crumbs & a pinch of salt into the 3rd dish. Station the bowls in order of flour, egg & bread crumbs.

    Thoroughly dredge the chicken in the flour on both sides. Then the egg, then the bread crumbs.

    For a crispier coating, dip the chicken in the egg & bread crumbs again!

    Drain the pasta & set aside.

    Heat 1/2 inch of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. When the oil shimmers or reaches a temperature of 325°, add the chicken.

    Cook for 2-3 min. Then flip over the chicken. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 5 min, or until the chicken is cooked through & crispy.

    Transfer the chicken to a paper-towel lined plate.
  • Step 10
    Heat the marinara sauce in the same pan. Once heated, add the drained pasta. Toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.

    Slice the breaded chicken.
  • Step 12
    Serve the chicken alongside the pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional). Season with salt & pepper. Enjoy!
