Cooked shrimp
1/2 cup
Peas (frozen)
1/2 handful
Green beans (fresh)
1/3 cup
Pearl barley
1/4 clove
Garlic
1/4
Lemon

Prepare the barley according to the package instructions. - Step 2
Wash & trim the green beans. Add them to a pot of salted boiling water. Cook for 1 min. Add the peas. Cook for another 2 min. Drain & set aside. - Step 3
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the grated or crushed garlic. Then add the shrimp. Cook, stirring for 2 min. - Step 4
Add the zest & juice from the lemon. Pour the barley, peas & green beans into the pan. Stir it all together. Season with salt & pepper. Add a final drizzle of olive oil. Serve & enjoy!
