recipe

  • Step 1
Remove the salmon skin & cut it into 1 inch pieces.
  • Step 2
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. When the pasta is done, set aside a small ladle of cooking water, then drain the pasta.
  • Step 3
In the meantime, melt a dab of butter in a pan, over medium heat. Add the salmon cubes to the pan & season with salt & pepper. Cook undisturbed for 5-7 mins. Set aside & keep warm.
  • Step 4
In the same pan, add the grated garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Then add the butter & let it melt, over low heat.
  • Step 5
Once the butter is melted, add the heavy cream & grated parmesan. Mix & cook for another 2-3 min.
  • Step 6
Add the pasta & a splash of the reserved cooking water, if needed. Mix everything together.
  • Step 7
Add the salmon & stir it all together.
  • Step 8
Serve the Salmon Alfredo Pasta topped with extra grated parmesan, if you wish. Re-season to taste & enjoy!
