recipe
- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Coarsely chop half of the M&M's & chocolate eggs. Save the other half to decorate the cookies. - Step 2
Soften the butter in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugar until smooth. - Step 3
Add the eggs & mix until smooth. - Step 4
Then, add the flour, baking powder & a pinch of salt. Stir just until the dough is smooth. - Step 5
Add the chopped candy & mix. Refrigerate the cookie dough for 30 min. - Step 6
Remove the cookie dough from the refrigerator & form dough balls, about 1.5 inches wide. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 min at 425°F or until the cookies are lightly browned on the edges. - Step 7
Remove the cookies from the oven. Add the reserved M&M's & chocolate eggs to the top of the still warm cookies, pressing them in lightly. Serve & enjoy!
🥣 Batchcooking tip
To make batches of cookies at any time, freeze the raw cookie balls and bake off when you want!
