Yellow onion

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Slice the chicken sausage into 1/4-inch rounds. - Step 2
Wash the peppers & remove the seeds. Then slice the peppers. (Use yellow, red & green peppers for more festive color!) - Step 3
Peel & thinly slice the onion. - Step 4
Add the chicken sausage, peppers & onion to a parchment-lined sheet tray. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper & Italian seasoning. Toss well to coat. - Step 5
Transfer to the oven & cook for 20-25 min, until the sausage is nicely browned & the veggies are softened. - Step 6
Garnish with fresh basil (optional). Serve & enjoy!
