- Step 1
Peel & finely chop the red onion. Wash & small dice the tomato. - Step 2
Heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add the ground beef. Season with salt & pepper. Stir & cook, breaking up the meat with the spatula for about 5-8 min or until the meat is no longer pink. - Step 3
Layer the sliced cheddar on top of the meat. Turn off the heat & cover the pan with a lid for 3-4 min to let the cheddar melt. - Step 4
Meanwhile, warm the pita in a dry frying pan or microwave for 15-20 sec. - Step 5
Assemble the pita! Add the cheesy beef to the pita, then top with the red onion, tomato & pickles. Drizzle with burger sauce. Fold up the pita, serve & enjoy!
