Stovetop, Pot (small), Colander, Parchment paper, Frying pan
Step 1
Place the walnuts on a baking sheet. Toast them in the broiler for 1-2 min. Check them frequently to be sure they do not burn.
Step 2
Cook the ravioli according to the package instructions. Reserve a bit of the cooking liquid.
Step 3
Remove the toasted walnuts from the oven. Cool, then roughly chop them. Set aside.
Step 4
Add the cream, parmesan, salt & pepper to a pan over medium heat.
Step 5
Add 1 tbsp of the pasta cooking liquid (per serving). Reduce the heat to low & simmer for 2 min, stirring regularly.
Step 6
Wash the pear. Remove the core & seeds. Then cut the pear into thin slices.
Step 7
When the ravioli is done cooking, drain well.
Step 8
Add the cooked ravioli to the saucepan. Gently stirring to combine with the sauce.
Step 9
Serve the ravioli topped with pear slices, chopped walnuts, ground black pepper & a drizzle of olive oil. Enjoy!
