Preheat the oven to 400°F. Chop the broccoli into florets.
Cook in boiling water for 8-10 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork.
Melt the butter in a frying pan on low-medium heat.
Add the flour and mix, stirring quickly.
Slowly add the milk and mix together with a whisk until the sauce thickens.
