Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Chop the broccoli into florets.

Cook in boiling water for 8-10 minutes or until easily pierced with a fork.

Melt the butter in a frying pan on low-medium heat.

All-purpose flour

Step 4

Add the flour and mix, stirring quickly.

Slowly add the milk and mix together with a whisk until the sauce thickens.

Add the broccoli to an oven-safe dish and season with salt & pepper. Add the bechamel sauce and the cheese.
