Put the tomatoes in a bowl and crush them using a fork or your fingers.
Finely chop the onions.
In a large pot, cook the onions in some olive oil for 1-2 minutes until golden.
Add the tomatoes and their juices, contiune cooking for 2 more minutes. Add 1 1/2 cups of water per person and a stock cube.
Add the pasta and cook for 8 minutes. Stir from time to time so the pasta doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot and season.
Serve! (Add a bit of parmesan or other cheese on top if you wish).
