Rinse the bell pepper & remove the seeds. Thinly slice. - Étape 2
Peel & thinly slice the onion. - Étape 3
Peel & mince the garlic. - Étape 4
In a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. - Étape 5
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the sausage & brown on each side for about 5-6 min. Transfer to a plate. - Étape 6
In the same pan, add garlic, onions & bell peppers. Sauté for 5-6 min, or until everything is nicely caramelized. - Étape 7
Drain the pasta in a colander & set aside. - Étape 8
Season the veggies with salt & pepper. Stir in tomato paste & mix it all together. - Étape 9
Slice the sausage & add it back to the pan. Add the pasta & mix it all together. - Étape 10
Garnish with parmesan cheese & freshly torn basil (optional). Serve & enjoy!
