Preheat the oven to 450°F. In a heat-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Set aside. - Étape 2

Heat a muffin tin or popover tin in the oven for 10 min as the batter rests. Carefully remove it from the oven & spritz each cup with cooking spray. - Étape 4
Working quickly, fill each cup 3/4 of the way with batter (a measuring cup works great here). Sprinkle cheddar cheese over top then bake in the oven for for 20 min at 450°F. After 20 min, reduce the heat to 350°F & bake 10 more min. - Étape 5
Rinse & thinly slice some chives. - Étape 6
Remove the popovers from the oven & immediately invert them onto a cooling rack to stop the cooking. Slice a popover in half & savor the delicious steam ; ) Top with a bit of salted butter & chives. Enjoy!
Astuce recette
Make sure that both the milk & the eggs are at room temperature before you start - this is how the popovers rise!
