  • Step 1
    Bring the butter to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, butter, most of the sugar & a pinch of salt. Mix with your hands until it forms a crumbly texture.
  • Step 2
    Transfer the dough to a greased pie pan. Evenly press the dough into the pan to form a crust. (The bottom of a drinking glass is handy for pressing!) Trim the edges with a knife.

    Bake the crust for 5-10 min, or until golden brown. Then set aside to cool.

    Wash, trim & halve the strawberries.
  • Step 5
    In a large mixing bowl, add the mascarpone, heavy cream, cream cheese & the rest of the sugar (about 1 tbsp).
  • Step 6
    Use a hand mixer to beat the ingredients until smooth & creamy.
  • Step 7
    Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the base of the tart.
  • Step 8
    Arrange the strawberries decoratively over top.
  • Step 9
    Garnish with fresh lime zest (optional). Refrigerate until ready to serve!
