Flank steak

1/2
Bell pepper (red)

1/3 cup
Jasmine rice

1/2 cup
Cherry tomatoes

1 tbsp
Cilantro (fresh)

Yellow onion

2 tbsp
Soy sauce

1 tsp
Sugar (granulated)

1 tsp
Ginger (fresh)

1/2 clove

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. - Step 2
Peel & thinly slice the onion. - Step 3
Peel & mince the garlic. - Step 4
Wash the pepper & remove the seeds. Thinly slice the pepper. - Step 5
Heat a drizzle of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the peppers, onion & garlic. Cook, stirring for 3 min. - Step 6
Wash the cherry tomatoes. Add the tomatoes & a splash of water to the pan. Cover & cook for 2 min. - Step 7
Slice the steak into strips. - Step 8
Combine the steak, soy sauce, sugar & grated or minced ginger in a small bowl. Stir the flavors together. - Step 9
Add the steak & sauce to the pan. Sauté for 3 min, or until the steak is cooked to your liking. - Step 10
Serve the steak & veggies over a bed of fluffy rice. Season with salt & pepper. Garnish with chopped cilantro (optional). Enjoy!
