Split peas

1 slice
Ham (deli slices)

Stovetop, Pot (small), Blender

Add the split peas to a pot. Cover with twice as much water. Bring it to a boil. Salt the water. Reduce the heat to low, cover & simmer for 45 min. - Step 2
When the split peas are tender, add a drizzle of oil. Season with salt & pepper. Blend until smooth, adding a bit of water if needed. - Step 3
Serve garnished with slices or torn pieces of ham. Enjoy!
